Quick report
Toured towards Texas Meadows, and skied in the North facing Playground area. Good coverage of the road on the way in. No signs of instability noted. Zero cracking or collapsing, no signs of recent slides seen. It started snowing around 1130am and stayed consistent at 1/2" per hour. Wind remained calm. Hasty pit on a North facing 20 deg slope. HS 45 cm 45 - 30 cm new snow from the past few days. Fist hardness 30-15cm pencil to 1 finger, with some thin softer layers mixed in. 15cm - ground 4 finger hardness, large facet rotten snow. Overall good skiing with 15 cm of soft snow over a thin snow pack.
