Wanted to check the lower elevation snowpack in this area. Everything at this elevation that got direct sun will have a crust now, due north and shady northerly seemed to stay cold and dry for the most part and still rode great this afternoon. New storm snow was about 13cm in this location. The November snow was preserved here, there's 20cm of depth hoar at the bottom of the snowpack, but it is rounding now and was not reactive in tests in this specific location. There were a couple melt freeze crusts in the snowpack, the upper one at 88-90cm from the ground has facets on top and got full propagation in my ECT at 25 taps.
