Quick report
Decent wind affect along the ridgeline above Martha's/Blueberry chutes, with a thin ice crust in places. Dug a few hand pits to find a few inches of loose to modestly wind compacted snow above a subtle crust in the snow, with the Jan 10th crust between roughly 8-12 inches below the current snow surface. I broke out the ski crampons for a steeper pitch up to the plateau above Blueberry Chutes around 9:30 am, although my partner managed fine without. Winds around 5-10 mph out of the ~NE while we were on the ridge, saw some light blowing snow. Noted a thin windslab (would ballpark at 1-2 inches thick) that looks to have been skier triggered at the rollover at the top of Heart Shaped Box (see photo). Seems 2 days old or so. Skied the line to the skier's left of the Prow, and found chalky, wind-affected snow at the top which turned softer and more consistent lower down, covering icy chunks of older avalanche debris/rollerballs . Not mindblowing skiing, but still an enjoyable outing!
