- Poor Snowpack Structure
- Red Flags Comment
-
I did not observe a lot of in your face red flags today, there was a few small minor collapses and the snowpack structure is still on the radar with propagating test results. The snowpack felt like it handled this recent storm quite well.

A nice storm for the north slope with around a foot of low density snow that has improved the riding and turning conditions. There is good supportability and coverage is getting better to start venturing off the main roads.
Double Hill may have seen some natural avalanche activity during the storm, but overall the area seemed to handle the storm rather well.

-
Around the mid elevations in Gold Hill the winds were mostly calm, but the highest peaks had some blowing and drifting snow. Most of the soft wind slabs I stomped on were nonreactive.

A nice storm for the north slope with a solid foot of cold light density snow up in Gold Hill Basin, while the trailhead received around 5-6".
