Exposed snow on all aspects below 7000’ is patchy, once in the trees on low angle E/NE aspects the snow was still hanging on and felt refrozen with minimal boot penetration at 6AM as well and stayed pretty solid when we exited around 10:30. S -E-NE facing aspects above 7400’ were warming at 7:30AM with higher angled slopes more directly affected. Boot penetration was around 1.5-2” above 8,000’ by 9:30 and the corn skied well.
