We observed a wind-slab avalanche in the Claw (N @ 8600) from across the drainage, crown had step-like pattern that showed cross-loading from W winds

Avalanche viewed from KB Ridge in steep trees in the Claw . Crown appeared to be 6-12" and extended almost 100 feet downhill in step-like pattern from cross-loading. There were tracks below the slide and in the debris but hard to tell if this was skier triggered or natural.
