Occurred on Hogum Divide, north end of the ridge, uphill travel near top, while bootpacking.
While skinning up on NE approach, 10cm surface cracks
Switched to booting for last 40 feet (elev. 10,400)
While booting, collapse and wind slab release from top convexity, ~15ft above the bootpacker
Bootpacker caught and carried about 20 feet (no burial or injuries)
Debris stopped after about 50 feet
This release sympathetically triggered slope to south at wind drifts (10,300)
That slide ran, stepping down to the dirt layer after about 30 feet, and running into basin below (10,000 ft)
