Skied NE and West aspects in the swan. In general, found much less snow than expected on NE slopes. There was a breakable crust about 10 inches down. The snow below the crust was reactive resulting in slow careful skiing. On West slopes, better and more stable skiing was found. Small isolated cracking on wind affected area. The snow was deeper on this aspect All in all, about “average” for this time of year.
