6" of fresh snow over a thin crust. Alot of snow underneath the new snow was still wet. I saw widespread cracking, propagating far away from my tracks, (10+m) with small sections of slab pouring into tree wells. I noticed this across various parts of the mountain. With a steeper slope, I think alot of storm slab would have slid.
