Quick report

10:30 am on a southeast aspect at 8,000'. Total height of snow =  5.5' (165cm). Evidence of free water pooled above a crust down 16" (40cm). See photo. This is consistent with the crown depth of the wet slab triggered in the Wolf Trap yesterday. Potential wet slabs this afternoon are likely to be 1-2' deep, but could be deeper on sunny slopes below cliff bands as is evident by the JHMR event from yesterday afternoon.
