Quick report

Low wind and little available snow for transport. The top layer of snow seems to be faceting and is a point of concern for me when we get new snow later this weekend. We saw evidence of old wet slides but experienced no instability. The top layer of snow wasn't consolidated and seems to be faceting out, it was also very easy to push it around on top of a fairly slick icy layer just below it.

Snowpack

In our pit we found two layers of concern. One 20cm down where we had both a CTM Q2, and ECTP28 result. And the other at 60 cm down where we got a CTH Q2 and an ECTP on an extra hit. Also, a thin layer at 60cm seems to be building facets, mostly based on how i haven't seen any there before, but they seem to be rounding.
