Quick report

We were out until about noon, which is when the rain really got going. The snow was pretty well saturated down to about 70cm, which is where we found the JDL. We did a couple hasty pits, including two compression tests, one was no result and the other was CT28SC down ~70cm. I was also able to kick off small, shallow slabs on little test slopes. These broke about 20-30cm down, and just beneath my skies (didn't propagate away from at all).

Avalanche

We saw numerous wet loose slides across the valley coming off of steep and rocky terrain. Some may have triggered slabs, but visibility wasn't good enough to confirm that.
