Warm overnight, with snotel site at Beeler grade showing a low temp of 35 degrees. Southerly winds kept the initial day time arm-up slow, but eventually the warm desert air won out & it got hot. Increasing high clouds through the day.
Snowpack
Generally wet, and well above average. Cornices seem to have the greatest potential for triggering avalanches, though several moderately sized wet slabs pulled out of narrow chokes below treeline in big paths Debris piles are substantial from many of these slides
