Quick report

- Collapsing
- isolated
Isolated collapsing in the flats from the highway to the base of the climb. No whumping after that. Strong down valley (W) winds were moving tons of snow across the ascent ridge on to the east facing counter slopes of Headquarters Cr. But suprisingly didn't observe any cracking despite drifting up 40cms. Near the top of the South Bowl at 8900 E did get some isolated cracking (1m) on a steep test slope. Overall given the active loading was surprised not to see more sensitive wind slabs. No persistant slab issue in the south bowl as set up was the HST (20-25cm) over MFcr at the top or sagebrush at the bottom!
Avalanche
2 wind slabs (presumably) about 10K SE near Goat Peak (10414). They looked small, but it was hard to tell.
