Quick report

No signs of avalanche, natural avalanches or roller balls. Did observe runnels and soft snowpack, and a few seemingly older cracks around trees. Compression tests showed ability to separate layers but propagation was low. Wet snowpack, observed runnels. Lower elevations had active water. No signs of runnerballs or natural avalanches.

Storm couldn't decide between sleet, freezing rain, snow, or just rain. Precip was fairly limited until the afternoon, when we got pretty wet on the hike out.

Snowpack

DISCLAIMER- Practice pit! Melt form and decomposing precipitation particles on surface. Melt form continue down to first crust layer at ~15cm. Below crust is melt form then rounded grains, then back to melt form above the second crust at ~35cm. Again, melt forms and some rounded grains below that before more meltforms until the ground. All layers were pretty wet.
