Quick report
Easy tour up to snow lake divide with dog to check snow surface and use. Heavy Valley Fog up to 5K with 100 yard visibility then cloud clearing in/out through ridge lines. Rounding crystal formations with 20cm boot penetration and 10cm ski. No digs below most of way up. Couple hand pits to show storm layers uniform and rounding down 30cm from warming inversion above 4K. 4-5 different avy education/ski tour education groups and 4 different tour groups heading up to Pineapple and Chair/Snow Lake. Warming into the day to loosen the top layer and then setting up with evening chill/wind. Would anticipate a melt/freeze crust above 5K and better preserved snow quality lower/in trees.
