Quick report
No signs of instability, minimal new snow but everything was still light and fluffy. Beautiful sunny day. Traveled on strawberry trail most of the way. Lower elevations still need more snow here to be really good. Probably 2 more feet needed. Skied the south face of the north peak of spider bowl, wide open perfect turns. 5 of us started 1 at a time then felt good and partied the rest of the 800’ of face to the bushes. Biiig bushwhack with a knee injury in our party after bonking a tree. Took 3-4 hours to boot back to the trail and out in the dark. Be careful out there in the sticks if you choose to go! Snow was great and there are lots of options for great skiing… just a lot of work right now
