Dig a pit at 8850ft on WNW aspect Total Snow Depth: 220 cm Surface Conditions: ~0.5 cm rime crust present on the surface. Made for terrible skiing. Snowpack Tests: - ECTN 14 @ 25 cm – Failure within recent storm snow. No propagation. - ECTN 24 @ 40 cm – Failure in mid-storm layer. Fracture did not propagate. - ECTP 26 @ 80 cm – Full propagation on the January drought layer. Also saw some wet slide avalanche debris on south facing chute across the valley
