Saw this avalanche while traveling around the east bowl area. Not sure when it occurred. Pretty prime spot: shallow snowpack due to being stripped by wind. SS-U-D1-O-15"

Given the depth of the crown (40 cms/15") and comparing it to a snowpit on an adjacent slope, this avalanche likely failed in a faceted layer. Given the ski tracks nearby, it also was likely skier-triggered.]
