Quick report
A snowmobile triggered avalanche was reported in the Afton area near Dry Creek Lake on 3/5/23 that resulted in a burial in consequential terrain. The rider experienced a collapse in a cornice from an exposed ridge line, and fell through a series of cliffs bands then buried to their shoulder in avalanche debris. Patient was transported by TCSAR via helicopter.
