Quick report

In ECT test, found fracturing but not propagation on 8th tap (ECTN8) where the top 30cm of new snow separated from the previous storm snow. Clearing away the top 30cm, tried to initiate failure at the 100cm icy crust- could do so, but it involved a lot of very unscientific smacking. In a pit, found that the most recent storm snow had not fully bonded to the previous storm layer; but experienced no cracking or collapsing while touring and skiing in low-angle terrain.
