Quick report
Lotsa new snow; 6" lower gate, 12" picnic tables, 18"+ up high. The density of the new snow lightened as I climbed. Light winds with the occasional gust. No cracking or collapsing all day. I dug once in some E facing trees at 8500', and did two rounds of tests, same result both times. HS 100 cm, ECT N 12 down 20 cm at a density change in the new snow. Overall the pack looks good and right side up, no sugar at the ground. I did ski all the way out and only got a couple core shots ;)
