Preliminary report of a skier triggered avalanche on Peak 9269'. Skier was caught and carried approximately 300 vertical feet through a cliff area, no burial but serious injuries sustained. SAC forecaster went to the site on April 3 and took pictures and conducted observation work in the area. The cliff area where the avalanche occurred was not accessed due to exposure issues and rapid daytime warming. We will continue to update this observation as more info becomes available.
