Quick report
The overnight refreeze was more significant than earlier in the week, and surfaces on all aspects were supportable and icy in the morning. By mid-morning, surface crusts had broken down, but the snow skied nicely, staying supportable to boots and skis. From afar, we observed one cornice collapse in the Blewett Pass area.

It was another spring day with warm temperatures and sunshine. High clouds floated in by the afternoon, and winds were light along the ridgeline.
Snowpack
We dug a quick pit on an East aspect at 6600ft to see how the snowpack has changed with the prolonged warm temperatures. Overall, we found a wet to moist snowpack interspersed with crusts in the upper snowpack. Snow over the Early February Crust (buried 45cm deep) is still notably weaker than the overlaying slab, but the faceted grains were moist and rounded. An ice lens formed about 30cm where liquid water pooled from meltwater due to the sun and warm temperatures. Extended column tests produced no results.
