Quick report
No avalanches observed today. We made it to 8k and traveled mostly on the right side of the compass rose. Sporadic and light easterly winds with no blowing snow. Found some evidence of scouring on NE-E aspects near ridgetop. No wind slab activity was observed tho. Good snow a couple hundred feet down from the summit, especially in concave features. Some sluffing on the steeps but pretty manageable. Did not dig but got an average HS of 150cm around 6400' on a south aspect above 8mile lake. Things are looking thin in the range. Lots of open creek so dont worry about getting water anywhere. *Heads up, our car got a window smashed and radio was stolen!
