Quick report
Cold but beautiful day up at the pass. Blue skies and low temps. It was definitely nice to be sheltered from the wind in the trees. Didn’t see any signs of wind effect. Luckily the cold has maintained amazing fluffy, light powder in the trees!! The skiing was great. Kept it to moderate angle trees so saw no signs of instability. Topped out around 3900ft elevation, NW aspect. Travel much easier than a couple weeks ago, with a lot of the lower drainages filling in now. Finally moving past seeing rocks/logs/early season hazards!!
