Quick report
No glaring signs of instability of snow pack on slopes of same aspect and similar elevation during skin, we travelled pretty relatively aggressively through a portion of avalanche terrain sitting under the smaller peak to the east of Mount Ann. Prior to descent, S/SE wind was pumping for almost an hour, and slope was wind textured so could have been some wind loading. We skied a similarly steep slope at the start of the run and to us the snow pack felt stable, I then descended over a convexity onto a steep slope, which was unwise and resulted in me being carried and partially buried. Thankful to have gotten out, and kicking myself for being goaded into riding an unsafe terrain feature. Gorgeous day though!

Point release on a convexity at about 5000 ft on the NE face of Mount Ann. Propagated 150-200 ft in total and ran ~400 ft. Carried me ~100 ft, luckily was only partially buried below my head and was able to free my self. Im guessing it was storm slab, although easterly winds were pumping for about an hour prior to descent so could have been slightly wind loaded as well. No signs of instability, collapse, shooting cracks, or whoompfing on slopes of similar aspect at the same elevation during ascent.
