Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
- Collapsing
- isolated
8" to 10" of new snow; the bottom of the storm snow is an obvious dust layer. No evidence of storm slab formation here; new snow issues appeared to be confined to windloaded terrain. Our one pit produced moderate, propagating results on surface hoar about 2 feet deep. We attempted to get avalanche feedback on a few start zones by stomping near the top, etc, without any results.
Most of our travel was in dense glades so I wouldn't expect feedback there. We got one collapse on an open, east facing slope of First Bowl, and some localized cracking in the few drifted features that we encountered.Weather

8" to 10" storm totals by 2 p.m. Strong winds were shaking the trees overhead. Not much snow transport happening where we traveled, but it was clearly happening in more wind-exposed terrain.
Avalanche
No avalanches in 1st Bowl. Otherwise, poor visibility of other avalanche terrain.
