Observation: Grandview Peak

Lingering humidity left a nice crop of 6mm surface hoar on northwest through north aspects (presumably northeast as well) between 8,100' and 9,200'. This weak layer sits above 1.5" of settled snow, which in turn sits over a crust. Thickness of the crust varies, HS roughly a foot.
