Quick report
Traveling in some zones north Mt Watson we found some good snow that made travel smooth and fast. On shaded sheltered terrain we found soft powder snow. This powder snow is largely faceted, recrystallized snow. Coverage seemed to be pretty good overall but there are thin areas and snow is needed.
Many aspects with solar tendencies have a crust. In the upper elevations especially near mountain passes there was significant wind affect that made riding difficult. We noted some old wind slab avalanches on some of the higher peaks that likely ran in the last wind event.
We didn't dig, but upon getting stuck we did not some weaker, less dense snow at the bottom of the pack in certain areas.

Snowpack
We found a mixed bag of surfaces, but overall riding quality seems to have decreased with some warmer temps and wind.
