Triggered remotely from 150-200 feet away while skinning above on low angle (20-25) terrain. Big crack happened underneath us and we heard the whole snowpack collapse quite far behind us, then the sounds of an avalanche running. After travelling around to the other side of the gully, we were able to observe it safely from a distance. After reflecting on our choices today, we would not have changed anything, for we were in a safe spot when the avalanche was triggered.
