Quick report
The large natural avalanche in Murdock Ck was by far the biggest fresh slide I saw today. Most of the other activity from today was relatively small, wet loose slides. The larger wet loose and wet slab avalanches I observed over the past couple days generally occurred on W-S-SE aspects in rocky alpine or subalpine terrain where the snowpack is relativley thin. Many avalanches failed as gouging, full depth wet loose or wet slab avalanches.
