Quick report

Beautiful morning up in the Boulders with blue skies and no ridgeline wind where we were. Snow surfaces were an eclectic mix of breakable crust, wind affect, and creamy powder up high. Crusts ranged in thickness from <1 cm to 5 cm with dry snow underneath at mid to upper elevations. We skied off the top before 11 so were not around to witness any of the wet snow issues that seemed likely to crop up later in the day - seemed like it could get messy. Based on what we observed up there today, it's going to take a few days of warm temps and overnight refreezes to get those snow surfaces into a proper corn cycle.
