Noted some early surface hoar development, sparkly frost feathers growing on wind scalloped powder.
A few lingering snowflakes in the air over Tony Grove Lake. People have been stepping out onto some very steep slopes in this terrain, some triggering small, unsurprising loose and shallow soft (wind) slab avalanches.

- <p>We did not find much in the way of recently drifted snow.. Could not produce cracking in 3-day-old drifts. </p> <p>The snow is very deep in this area, but could still see some evidence of the large natural hard slab avalanche that occurred in late December. </p>
