Quick report
We found dry surfy powder up high transitioning to denser pow lower down . We stayed off steeper more open slopes not wanting to get into any trouble. The deep snowpack is really nice to have at higher elevations. Be nice to see some more down low. With pwl on problem list we wanted to assess the terrain and snowpack conservatively. We dug a pit just below a ridge at 7100' The weak layer did not pop out at us like it did last weekend in handpits not far away. There was no Grey stripe We still had partial propagation 40 cm down at 9 taps and full propagation at 11
Weather
Happy to see the high clouds roll in mid day. Snow was still getting heavy with cloud cover
