Out with Moto Rec 1 and Alaska Avalanche School. We saw some old slides (1-2 weeks) on SW and SE aspects in cross loaded gullies. Similar snowpack as found in 7 mile: Intermittent top crust, a buried distinct crust, with facets at the ground. Found some soft snow farther up the valley closer to the toe of the glacier. Clear skies today with very small surface hoar, that shouldn't be an issue unless it continues to grow in the days to come.
