Quick report
The focus of today was taking a look at crusts near the snow surface - including their burial depth, thickness/hardness, and structure surrounding them - at a variety of elevations between 2000 - 3000'. See the photos below. Two takeaways at this location - the holiday crust dissipates quickly around 3000', and a "crust sandwich" is present between 2200 - 2700' in elevation, with facets surrounding the thinner, upper crust.
