A quick visit to the East Fork Bear Drainage this afternoon and spotted a few natural avalanches that likely happened during the recent storm. This area east of the north slope trailhead typically has a shallow and weak snowpack and the new snow and wind overloaded a few slopes. All these avalanches are naturals and the aspect is north through northeast. A couple of them are mid to low elevation with the others at and above 10,000'.
