Quick report
I observed several old debris piles from Wet Loose avalanches earlier in the week. The surface snow had refrozen on Thursday night and was very firm. During my morning tour avalanches would have been very unlikely. If it rains enough in the afternoon, Wet Loose avalanches will be possible as the snow surface melts and loses cohesion.

The morning started out with thick clouds building to the east and open views west to the Cascades. By 10:30 it was starting to snow and rain. The snow line seemed to be somewhere around 7,200 ft. although it also hailed a little and that extended below the lake elevation.
Snowpack
I found a melt-freeze crust everywhere that I toured. Most of the time this crust supported my weight on skis and off skis, but there were places on north facing slopes where my boots would punch through the crust. By 9:00 AM the surface snow was just beginning to melt due to the warm temperatures.
