Quick report

We rode from Horse Creek parking lot to Gun Site Pass today. Snow was melted on the trail to Sherman Guard Station. We rode conservatively along the H trail and adjacent meadows. While riding in the meadow we caught an avalanche on camera that looked like a wet slab either natural release or a far remote trigger. Prior to that the face had many roller balls across it. The north facing slopes in alpine terrain was very wind affected. Most snow in the range was covered in dust from the wind storm. Snow was slushy on the surface but not isothermal. Sun was bright and hot. Riding was fun!!
