Was out and about this morning and thought I'd add some beta on snow conditions on the Ogden side of the skyline ridge. Polars seems to have held the October snow down to 7500 or 8000ft or so. The snow this weekend made it down to 5000 to 6000ft, but I imagine most of that melts off.
Pictured below is the south face of Ben Lomond, the northwest side of a 7500ft sub-peak on the Lewis massif, and the Banana Chute (NW couloir on Allen Peak).
