Snowpack

We primarily traveled on southerly-facing slopes with no avalanche concerns. The thick snow and old buried crusts made for some okay turns and kept the skis off the ground where the snow height was 35cm+. On SE-facing slopes up to 11,300ft the upper 5cm to 10cm of the snowpack was moist and will form a new crust.

We crossed a couple of wind wales on easterly to northeasterly facing terrain features that produced collapses and shooting cracks.
