We saw about 8” of new snow above 7,000 feet with a visible brown dirt layer that the wind carried. Winds were strong out of the south, moving snow in leeward terrain just below the ridges on the North and east aspects. The cracking localized and was in the upper 20cm/8inches

Overall right side up with a slight denser layer from Thursday beneath the new 8”. Propagation (ECTP18SC) 35cm(1’) down on 2-3mm Buried Surface Hoar fragments an graupel.
