Overall a strong snowpack transitioning to springtime surfaces. Wet loose issues in lower elevations during afternoon heating were our primary concerns as well as giving large cornices a wide berth. We did see one that had failed recently on a north aspect at 8600’. Motorized snow bikers had made it up into the 20 mile lakes basin. Please check the motorized use map as this is a closed area to motorized users.
