Quick report

No direct snow observations here, unfortunately. Just a few photos looking at snow coverage in the Centennial, Lionhead, and Bacon Rind areas as viewed from the highway on the morning of 11/2/25. There is a significant amount of snow on shaded slopes, stretching down into middle elevation terrain. There was less snow on aspects that get more sun, but it had not completely melted in many places. Based on these remote observations, there is enough snow on the ground to provide a bed surface for future avalanche activity. I have no direct information about the character of that snow. A good drizzle of rain falling in the 191 corridor this morning (from around the mouth of the Taylor Fork down to the mouth of the Gallatin Canyon) with temperatures in the low 40s at 9 AM.
