Gothic Mountain

I saw this avalanche with binoculars from the highway just before 4pm.  The proximity of tracks caused concern and my inability to see below the avalanche location from the road to verify tracks exiting the area.  I contacted Crested Butte Search and Rescue to make them aware of concerning-looking tracks near the avalanche.  I snowmobiled out very close to the avalanche to confirm that the tracks near the crown matched the number of tracks leaving the area, which they did.  

I can't be sure when this avalanche failed or if it was triggered by the tracks nearby, but it appears like at least one track entered the bed surface.  It likely ran between Monday, 2/3, and Thursday, 2/6.

I am uncertain when this avalanche failed or if it was human-triggered, but it appears that way due to the proximity of the tracks.
