Dug pits on both NE and W facing aspects off of the Hidden Canyon Saddle, between 10420 and Clayton Peak. NE facing pit was well sheltered and had faceting on approximately the upper third of the snowpack. W facing pit was in the sun with minimal shelter and has faceted almost to the ground. Both at approximately 10300ft. Above 10000ft N-NE facing had the best snow left for skiing.
