From 2500 ft up to the height of the ridgeline on the island at 5200, a temperature crust was present on south, and southwest aspects. 20 cms of dry powder snow was holding well on North and Northwest aspects. A pit a 5000 ft and 5100 ft both revealed similar results, failure with moderate scores (10-20) within the new storm snow with no propogation. The 3/29 BSH was found down 90cms and was rounding and mixing with other grains.
