We rode the Flattop area of Kakwa on Saturday. Managed to push to the top of hill to where the glacier ice cave is located. Probed 320 cm at the base of the glacier. A fairly recent large avalanche had happened on the steep rock face, signs look like fracture at the cornices. Snow was powder and wasn’t affected by the recent warming trend.
