Quick report

No signs of instability observed despite recent weather, forecast and loading. Dug a pit on a WNW aspect around 4800ft. Two notable layers one about 10cm down and another about 30cm down in the storm snow. Upper and lower layers both failed in CT (11 on 30cm) no propagation or shear quality. Weather was beautiful, afternoon warming effected south facing surfaces. No major wet signs observed. Two skiers center punched Tye early, looked sweet hat's off on the timing and bolder line choice. Our group made conservative choices and stuck to the WNW aspect we evaluated.
